The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is getting set for a new phase of unity and mobilization as the National Assembly Reconciliation Committee submitted its report to the state party leadership.
The committee, inaugurated to address grievances and unify party members ahead of 2027, was led by Chief Akin Oke as Chairman, Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM)served as Co-Chairman

Other prominent members of the committee include: Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, Chief Akin Onigbinde, SAN, Hon. Ashimiyu Alarape, Comrade Bolomope, Otunba Banji A. Banji, Prof. Abideen Olaiya, Alhaji Yinka Folarin and other distinguished members.

The team was saddled with the responsibility of engaging aggrieved Oyo APC members across 12 federal constituencies, and 3 senatorial districts to ensure APC goes to the 2027 general elections with United front.
The report was formally presented to the State Party Chairman, Otunba Moses Adeyemo Alake, and other members of the State Executive Committee at the APC State Secretariat, Oke Ado, Ibadan.
In his remarks while presenting the report, Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM) said the committee worked extensively to listen to all sides, and made recommendations aimed at healing wounds and repositioning the party for victory.

“This report contains the minds of our leaders and members across the state. It is a roadmap to unity, and we believe that with this, Oyo APC will come out stronger, he said.
Receiving the report, Otunba Moses Adeyemo Alake commended the committee for a job well done and assured that the recommendations would be studied and implemented in the interest of the party.
“Reconciliation is the foundation of victory. We will not leave anyone behind. APC in Oyo is one family and we are getting set to take back the state in 2027,the Co Chairman said.
Party stakeholders say the submission of the report signals that Oyo APC is closing ranks after past internal differences.
With the reconciliation process now at the level of implementation, the party is expected to begin harmonization meetings, stakeholder engagements, and grassroots mobilization across all zones.
The next phase will focus on bringing all tendencies together under one structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
