The Governing Council of Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate (OYSCOEL), has approved the appointment of Mrs. Roseline Folashade Olagbende as Acting Bursar of the College for a period of six (6) months, with effect from Tuesday, 13 October, 2026, in line with the Public Service Rules.
The appointment follows her position as the next officer in rank to the outgoing Acting Bursar, Mr. J. K. Olatunji, whose one-year tenure expired on Monday, 12 October 2026.
Mrs. Olagbende began her career in the College’s Audit Department and has risen through the ranks to the position of Deputy Bursar (Treasury), which she held before her appointment as Acting Bursar.
Her academic qualifications include a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (2001); a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo (2022); and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting from the National Open University of Nigeria(2026). She is also a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and an Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Forensic and Certified Fraud Examiners of Nigeria ( CIFCFEN).
The appointment was contained in the Decision Extracts from the 20th Regular Meeting of the Governing Council, held on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, at the Board Room, Administrative Building, Site B, Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate, alongside other decisions reached at the meeting.
The decision extracts were signed by Mr. Ajibola Agboola, FCAI, FANC, Deputy Registrar/Council Affairs, on behalf of the Registrar/Secretary to Council.
