The Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Funminiyi Afuye is dead.
Hon. Afuye reportedly died after a brief illness at the age of 66. Late Afuye was former Commissioner of Information in the state.
Late Speaker who presided over a plenary on Tuesday represents Ikere constituency 1. He also attended inauguration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on Sunday.
