Land grabbers need to quit their illegal activities or get ready to spend 15 years in prison as Oyo State government made its position known to the public as part of the efforts to check menace of land grabbers in the state.
Oyo State Government declared war on land grabbers when it inaugurated the State Task Force Unit for the enforcement of Real Estate Property Protection Law 2016.

The Acting Governor, Barr Bayo Lawal reinstated that there is no hiding place for land grabbers in the state.
He noted that the activities of land grabbers must be checked in order to promote peace and development.

In her remark, the Chairperson of the Task Force Team assured the state government the team’s readiness to discharge its duties diligently and ensure protection of the rights of genuine property owners in the state.
With the new development, property owners in Oyo State can now have breath of life.
