Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. Dolapo Adelana, Oyo State House of Assembly candidate under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC) has taken a bold step to connect with the grassroots through a visit to Temidire Oloke Community, off Idi-Obi Ogundepo, Ward 4, Oluyole Local Government Constituency.
Hon. Adelana during the visit expressed his commitment to genuine grassroots representation and community development in Oluyole Constituency.
Adelana motives of visitation was centred on connecting directly with the people—our mothers, fathers, youths, community leaders, elders, party members and residents—while listening to their concerns and strengthening the bond between leadership and the grassroots.
As part of the community engagement, Hon. Adelana through Dolapo Adelana Foundation (DOAF) extended support through the donation of chairs, financial assistance and food items, contributing to the welfare and cooperation of members and elders within the community and the party.

One of the beneficiaries said; this is more than a donation. It is a demonstration of leadership that understands that true representation begins with listening, identifying with the people and taking practical steps to support them.
Adelana’s approach continues to emphasise that leadership should not be confined to offices or campaign seasons. Rather, it must be visible in the communities, accessible to the people and responsive to their needs.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Dolapo Adelana (DOAF) reaffirmed his aspiration to represent the people of Oluyole constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly (OYHA), stressing the importance of equality, fairness, inclusion and meaningful support for all segments of society.
“A vote for me is a voice for all.” said Adelana. His statement reflects the vision of a representative who seeks to build a constituency where every voice matters, every community is valued, women and men are given opportunities, and youths are not left behind.

Adelana assured that he will continue to project a leadership philosophy built around service to humanity, empowerment for all and equality in representation.
He emphasized that tge people of Oluyole Constituency deserve a representative who understands their realities, identifies with their aspirations and is prepared to stand with them.
