After weeks of claim of genuine gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress, in Oyo State between the loyalists of Alagbe Gbemileke and Olooye Taofeek Adegboyega Adegoke, the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) has displayed and posted the authentic Form EC9 confirming the name of Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke as the Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress, (ADC) in Oyo State.
Adegoke Taofeek Adegboyega’s Form EC9 was posted by the INEC midnight Saturday.
The name which was displayed alongside other Governorship Candidates of the other political parties in different states where elections will be conducted in 2027 is in fulfilment of the Timetable set by the INEC for the 2027 General Elections.
Alagbe Gbemileke has two options, to either work with gubernatorial candidate of his party recognised by INEC or walk away and nurse the wound after months of investing energy, resources and time to keep his followers together.
