The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has made a passionate appeal to all leaders, elders, stakeholders, youths, women, support groups, and members of the party across the state to embrace genuine reconciliation and close ranks in the collective interest of the party and the people of Oyo State.

Sharafadeen Alli made this known in a press statement made available to FRESHPAGE on Wednesday. He emphasized that the task of reclaiming Oyo State requires a united APC, driven by a common purpose and an unwavering commitment to progressive governance.
Senator Alli noted that the outcome of the 2023 general elections offered important lessons on the consequences of internal divisions and disunity. According to him, whenever personal interests supersede the collective aspirations of the party, the APC becomes vulnerable and its chances of electoral success are diminished.
He therefore urged every stakeholder to reflect on the past and work consciously to ensure that history does not repeat itself in future elections.
The APC governorship candidate appealed to all party leaders, former aspirants, political associates, and loyal members to set aside every grievance, misunderstanding, and personal ambition that may hinder the progress of the party.
He stressed that no individual is greater than the APC and that the collective interest of the party and the development of Oyo State must always take precedence over personal considerations. He also expressed his readiness to work harmoniously with every stakeholder in building a stronger and more united political family.
Demonstrating humility and statesmanship, Senator Alli sincerely sought forgiveness from anyone he may have offended, whether knowingly or unknowingly. He called for genuine reconciliation anchored on mutual respect, trust, and brotherhood, emphasizing that forgiveness and unity remain indispensable ingredients for lasting political success.
He reaffirmed his belief that a united APC possesses the experience, capacity, and vision required to provide purposeful leadership and deliver sustainable development across Oyo State.
Senator Alli further extended a hand of fellowship to every leader, stakeholder, support group, and party faithful, urging all members to work together, campaign together, and ultimately secure victory together.
He called on party members to replace suspicion with trust, rivalry with cooperation, and bitterness with a renewed spirit of unity and shared responsibility. He maintained that only through collective effort and genuine collaboration can the APC regain the confidence of the electorate and successfully reclaim Oyo State.
He concluded by reminding party members that the people of Oyo State look to the APC with hope and great expectations. He urged every stakeholder to demonstrate that unity, sacrifice, discipline, and selfless service remain the enduring principles of progressive politics.
Senator Alli appealed for the prayers, support, and partnership of all members as the party prepares for future electoral contests, expressing confidence that a united APC will not only secure victory in Oyo State but also work seamlessly with the APC-led Federal Government to deliver greater development, prosperity, and improved welfare for all citizens. “Our strength is unity. Our victory is unity. Our future is unity.”
