Ololade Usman Bakare, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC and its gubernatorial aspirant ahead of the 2026 general elections has joined the family of late former Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and progressives to remember the 6th year transition of the architect of modern Oyo State.

Bakare in his remembrance message made available to newsmen said memories of impactful leadership, courage and commitment to the progress of Oyo State remain fresh in the heart of all progressives in the state and beyond.

The cyber security described Senator Ajimobi as a visionary statesman whose regime (2011-2019) brought remarkable and landmark transformation to Oyo State. Bakare said Senator Ajimobi laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth and development through purposeful governance, infrastructural development, institutional reforms and a strong commitment to peace and security.

Bakare stressed that administration of Senator Ajimobi restored dignity to governance and demonstrated that leadership is best measured by service, integrity and results.

His ability to nurture talents and provide opportunities for young and emerging leaders remains one of his enduring legacies.
