Dr Ololade Usman Bakare, founder of Igbega Oyo Initiative and Oyo state gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC has extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt felicitations to all Christians on the occasion of Easter celebration.
Dr Bakare said Easter is a sacred season for all Christians and a reminder of the ultimate sacrifice, love and glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The guber hopeful said Easter is a period for all Christians to reflect deeply on the virtues of humility, selflessness, forgiveness and hope. Dr Bakare added that resurrection signifies victory over despair for all Christians.
”In these challenging times, the message of Easter remains ever relevant for all Christians. It encourages Christians to rise above adversity, strengthen faith and remain steadfast in collective pursuit of peace, unity and progress” Bakare added.
Dr Bakare urged all Christians to draw inspiration from Christ’s life by showing compassion to one another, promoting harmony in communities and working together for the common good of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
Dr Bakare admonised Christians to use the season as an opportunity to pray fervently for Oyo State and Nigeria at large — prayers for good leadership, economic stability, security and sustainable development. He enjoyed Christians to extend love and kindness to the less privileged.
