The Oyo State Government has appealed to various communities with land disputes in the state to eschew violence and ensure peace reigns among them.
The State Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo-Lawal, made the appeal while presiding over some land disputes in some zones of the state brought by the people of the State’s federal constituency.
Barrister Bayo-Lawal, who reprehend the negative effect of the tussle, noted that the dispute has brought setbacks to education of the youth in these areas.
He gave assurance that affected schools in the communities would be reopened to normal academic activities while people chased away from their abode would also be brought back.

The Deputy Governor further directed concerned parties to sign a treaty and present their evidence to the State Ministry of Justice in the next one week for further investigation.
