The Oyo State Government through the State Housing Corporation (OYSHC) has assured illegal occupants of lands on the state-owned Ajoda New Town that it is not considering acquiring their landed property, rather making provisions to incorporate encroachers, numbering over 4,000 in its development plan.
The Chairman, State Housing Corporation, Ademola Omotosho made the disclosure during a media interaction.
Mr Omotosho, while stating that some illegal occupants on the land have been accusing the corporation of the intention to revoke their parcels of land, added that the encroachers breached every provision as contained in the act that established the corporation.
