Yesterday, I saw a video of a very funny individual who has recently been disturbing social media spaces with what he calls prophecies.
Interestingly, most, if not all of his prophecies which I have come across, are always about Governor Seyi Makinde and the APC.
In the recent video, ‘ Woli Abiodun Ibadan ‘ was very emphatic about the fact that Bimbo Adekanmbi, Governor Seyi Makinde’s anointed gubernatorial candidate, under the Allied People’s Movement would be elected as the next Governor of Oyo state.
He also warned the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC not to invest so much in the coming election because if they do, they are going to forfeit such investments.
If you listened to the funny fellow, when he was giving account of how he saw that Governor Seyi Makinde would be elected Governor in 2019 and 2023 and how he was discussing Bimbo Adekanmbi’s Governorship bid with God, you would think that the Prophet Elijah has just resurrected.
I am however curious that Woli Abiodun did not see anything about Governor Seyi Makinde’s presidential ambition. I am also curious that God did not show Woli Abiodun visions about Governor Seyi Makinde’s misadventures in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the unfortunate terrorists attacks at Oriire Local Government.

The fellow would have been everybody’s hero if he had seen that disaster before it happened so that it could be averted.
I wanted to do something about him after listening to his wishful thinking yesterday but on a second thought and after carefully examining some utterances he made in the video, I thought he wasn’t worth the effort.
What genuine man of God uses vulgar language in describing other human being?
For the avoidance of doubts, Woli Abiodun said he had some friends who used to discourage him any time he saw a vision concerning Governor Seyi Makinde.
He described his friends with the following words: ” Olorun O nii je ka ni ore Ori buruku o. Awon ore to ma nba teeyan je, to ma nko baa yan”. ( God would not let us have unfortunate friends).
He used those very harsh words to describe those he called his friends just because they were opposed to his suggestion of joining Seyi Makinde.
The fellow said he is a Prophet of God and he suggested to his friends that they should join Seyi Makinde. As what? Is it as his political Prophets or what?
Like I said, I wanted to ignore Woli Abiodun until I saw a post he dropped on a particular WhatsApp Group this morning.
In that post, Woli Abiodun called attention to the accusations by the Governor of Osun state, Ademola Adeleke, against the Osun state Commissioner of Police.
You will recall that Governor Adeleke alleged that the Commissioner of Police for Osun state is not cooperating with, whether with him or his Administration because the contexts are different.
I also saw that video but I decided to be cautious because it was an allegation and it would be proper to hear from the Commissioner of Police before passing judgment.
I saw that Governor Adeleke admitted that all other Security Agencies are cooperating with his Administration but it’s like Woli Abiodun was so engulfed in bitterness to acknowledge that statement and the fact that it would be unfair to judge the Osun state Commissioner of Police without hearing his own side of the story.
What is paramount to Woli Abiodun is the allegations that the Osun state Commissioner of Police is not cooperating with Governor Adeleke.
He was so elated and he jumped to the social media to say, and I quote, ” pls, hear what the Governor of Osun state said concerning the Commissioner of Police in his state. You called somebody the Chief Security officer of his state but Police Commissioner under him is not cooperative and takes orders from another person in Abuja under opposition political party”.
” For APC apologists, social media influencers, bloggers, political jobbers, beneficiaries and supporters accusing Seyi Makinde, what can you do when the people in charge of security and ammunitions are under the command and control of another person in another political party “.
” This is the reason why all security related problems in Nigeria is on the president of Nigeria who has the sole authority over arms and ammunition in Nigeria “.
” This is why Woli Abiodun Ibadan has been clamouring for State Police, Community Police and the need for all law abiding citizens of Nigeria to have guns to protect themselves and their families “.
” President Tinubu is and will continue to take responsibility for all insecurities in Nigeria as long as the constitution allows him to issue licence for arms and ammunition “.
I took the pain to quote our Prophet friend verbatim because I want to expose his hypocrisy and illogical reasoning.
If you didn’t have the opportunity of listening to Governor Ademola Adeleke, it will be easy for you to get carried away by the opinion of this political Prophet.
He deliberately chose to acknowledge the fact that every other Security Agencies have been cooperating with Governor Adeleke.
For me, Governor Adeleke’s comments about the Osun state Commissioner of Police remains in the realm of accusations and the Commissioner is also entitled to be heard before you begin to castigate him.
If Governor Adeleke doesn’t have problems with the Army, the Nigeria Civil Defense and Security Corps, the DSS and other Security Agencies of the Federal Government, is an allegation against the Commissioner of Police enough reason to conclude that the Governor of Osun state is not in control of security in Osun state?
Now, let us ask our friend, has there ever been a time that Governor Seyi Makinde alleged that he called the Police, DSS, NCDSC or any other Security Agency for that matter and they didn’t respond to him?
I don’t know why some people are yet to understand the fact that if you want to defend Governor Seyi Makinde on some issues, you will look like a fool.
You said ” the people in charge of security and ammunitions are under the command and control of another person in another political party”.
Now I want to ask you, Woli Abiodun, who got Auxiliary arrested and detained all this while?
Is it Tinubu or the APC?
When some citizens of Oyo state protested against Governor Seyi Makinde and Seye Famojuro over the seizure of their lands at Egbeda some years ago, who got them arrested and detained during Christmas period?
Who protected Auxiliary from being arrested when he led thugs to Eruwa and Igangan?
Who prevented him from being arrested when he demolished Tinubu’s Billboards in 2023?
Woli Abiodun will want us to believe that Governor Seyi Makinde lacks authority over the Police but the same Governor Seyi Makinde has the authority to deploy the police to effect arrests of citizens if they offended him!
Where is the common sense in that?
In fact, the funny fellow fell flat when he started talking about his advocacy for the establishment of State Police.
Well, Mr. Prophet Woli Abiodun, you will do your advocacy a lot of good by starting with your tin-god, Seyi Makinde himself.
Where were you when Governor Seyi Makinde said he saw the call for the submission of memorandum for the establishment of State Police as a waste of time?
If you don’t have this information, I have supplied you with it. Now, go and appeal to Governor Seyi Makinde to eat his words and submit a memorandum for the establishment of State Police in Oyo state or is that also a responsibility of the president?
We have an Amotekun Corp which is ill equipped. In other states where the Governors are serious and committed, such organizations are well equipped and catered for.
Are the Amotekun Corp well equipped and catered for or, has Governor Seyi Makinde ever approached appropriate Authorities to apply for the approval for procurement of ammunition for the Amotekun Corp and his request declined?
Just yesterday, the Oyo state House of Assembly, perhaps, listening to some of our suggestions or, just by coincidence, passed several Laws aimed at making the Amotekun Corp more effective.
Why didn’t they wait for the president? I am also a Christian and I know so much about people like Woli Abiodun. You can’t blame anyone these days if they begin to act in some shameful ways.
We are in the end of times. I will however suggest that he keeps his Jeun-Jeun tricks within the religious garb of ” Woli”.
If he keeps bringing his mundane ideas into the political space, I bet, his business will soon collapse.
