The Ibadan Descendants Union, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo Chapter has congratulated the newly elected President-General, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, Chief Oluyemisi Adeaga and members of his Executive Council as they assume the leadership duties of the great umbrella body of all Ibadan Indigenes.

The IDU, EACOED Chapter in a release jointly signed by its President, Mr. Kolade Akindele and Secretary, Alh. Wasiu Ibitoye rejoiced with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Dr. Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, the Olubadan-In-Council and the entire Ibadan Indigenes on the successful conduct of the CCII election that ushered in the Oluyemisi Adeaga-led- Exco. The release noted that the just concluded election “was a no Victor, no vanquish election as it is a time for all to join hands with the Olubadan in promoting the peace that Ibadanland is known for”.
“We urge the new President-General to run an all-inclusive administration that will not only accommodate all but build on the legacies of the founding fathers of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes and Ibadanland as a great city”, the release concluded.
