The Convener of the Oyo APC Peace Advocates, Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM), has congratulated two prominent leaders of the group, Hon. Hamzat Ogunsola and Hon. Salam Adetunji, on their appointment as Local Government Campaign Council Managers for Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli (BSA).
Hon. Hamzat Ogunsola was appointed as the Campaign Coordinator for Kajola Local Government, while Hon. Salam Adetunji was appointed as Campaign Coordinator for Iseyin Local Government.
In a congratulatory statement issued in Ibadan on Monday by The publicity secretary Elder David Oluokun, Prince Niran Adeyoju described the appointments as well-deserved, meritorious and a recognition of loyalty, hard work and grassroots mobilization capacity.
The statement reads: “On behalf of the entire leadership and members of Oyo APC Peace Advocates, I heartily congratulate our own leaders, Hon. Hamzat Ogunsola and Hon. Salam Adetunji on their well-deserved appointment as Local Government Campaign Council Managers for Kajola and Iseyin respectively for our incoming Governor, Distinguished Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli.
“Both men are committed, loyal and tested grassroots mobilizers who have worked tirelessly for the peace, unity and progress of APC in Oyo State and Oke-Ogun zone in particular. Their appointment is a round peg in a round hole.
“I have no doubt that they will deliver Kajola and Iseyin for BSA/Adedeji ticket in 2027. Oke-Ogun is BSA’s strongest base, and with these appointments, our victory is guaranteed.”
Prince Adeyoju (SDM) commended the Governorship Candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli and the State Campaign Council for recognizing competence and rewarding loyalty.
He charged the new coordinators to immediately commence unity meetings and to bring all aggrieved members together in line with the peace agenda of the APC.
He prayed for a successful tenure and resounding victory for the APC in Kajola, Iseyin and the entire Oke-Ogun zone.
