I saw a short video of the young man, Boye and the co-governor of Oyo state, the fellow from Ilesa, Seye Famojuro on Sunday night.
About two things caught my attention in their incoherent dialogue and the first is the rendering of the lyrics made popular by Taye Currency, ” Were la fi wo were”.
I am not surprised that they have become obsessed with the word ” mad”. The slogan adopted by Governor Seyi Makinde for his presidential campaign also has something to do with the word ” mad”.
I think they are calling themselves the MAD Resetters. So, can you really blame them if they keep talking and singing about madness? It must have become an obsession for them.
At any rate, there are no rooms for mad people in our society. No rooms for mad people in Oyo state.
Mad men belong in the bushes and we will definitely assist anyone who goes insane to secure an appropriate apartment in the bushes.
I laughed when I saw Seye singing that no one can chase him away from our state.
The fellow must have forgotten what our Elders used to say about a tenant who had a baby in a rented apartment and went ahead to name the baby ” Kolawole”. ( Eni to bimo sile rent, to so Omo e ni Kolawole, owo to fi ko ola wole naa ni a fi koo jade”.
He must also have forgotten what the Elders used to say about the stranger. ( Waa lo nile yi ki se epe alejo).
Who says the fellow will not leave our state? It’s just a question of when, not if. His case is like the case of an Ebira man who had three children and two of them died. When sympathizers tried to encourage him by praying that the only remaining child will not go the way of the deceased siblings and that God will protect the surviving child he replied, ” it is a must “. ( Igbira to bi Omo meta, ti meji ku, taa waa ni Olorun A wo kan to ku, o ni, o di dede).
2027 is the year that bonafide citizens of Oyo state will show the usurper from Osun state the way out of our state. The concoction is ready. The broomstics are ready. ( E wi fun alejo ko lo. E ti sasara bo agbo).
As for the other young man, Boye. I went for a podcast this afternoon and his imminent decamping to the Allied People’s Movement, APM was discussed.
I asked the anchor where Boye was, when his Boss, Bayo Adelabu contested to be Governor in 2023.
If he is what they are calling him, why did the Accord performed that woefully in 2023?
Can anyone offer what he does not have? You wanted to be prosperous in life, you went to go and demand for riches from the devil at the crossroads. ( Esu kole fun mi. Esu ra bata fun mi. Esu i ba nile, a maa gbe orita)?
I must also use this opportunity to respond to this gentleman, Adedeji, popularly referred to as ” Omo BAO”.
I saw a video of his interview also. I was surprised to hear him say that Senator Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli insulted his father. Though, I never heard him provide necessary information to support his claims, but, I understand. When you want to establish your entitlement to an inheritance that does not belong to you, you must learn to turn history upside down. ( Eni ti a je ogunkogun, itankitan ni o pa).
Is he just realizing that the Senator insulted his father now? Senator Alli insulted your father, yet, the old man has not left the All Progressives Congress, APC.
I also heard him boasting about the fact that he is going to defeat Senator Alli in his ward and Ibadan North Local Government.
He said he is a grassroots person, just because he was once a Local Government Chairman and I asked, under what manner of election? The sham of an election, usually conducted by the State Independent Electoral Commission SIEC or which one?
When people want to leave a party for the other, these days, I don’t know why they wouldn’t just walk over to the other side and do the talking after they had proved a point.
I now understand the reasons why some politicians nearly fainted after the counting of ballots.
As I was watching their videos, a particular woman in Osun state came to my mind and I pitied them.
January 2027 is almost here. It will be interesting to see how these parrots handle the shock of their imminent defeat.
