The Yoruba Youth Council (YYC) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to its Grand Patron, the Okanlomo Oódua, Chief (Engr.) Dr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, following his official installation as the Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, ARUSA I.

The historic installation, which took place at the Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan, marks another remarkable milestone in the traditional and leadership journey of Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, whose life has remained dedicated to selfless service, community development, youth empowerment, and the socio-economic growth of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.

The Council described the elevation as a well-deserved recognition of Chief Sanusi’s unwavering commitment to humanity, his outstanding philanthropic interventions, and his invaluable contributions to the preservation of Yoruba cultural heritage and traditional institutions.

As the Grand Patron of the Yoruba Youth Council, Chief Sanusi has continued to inspire countless young people through his exemplary leadership, generosity, and unwavering support for initiatives that promote youth development and cultural renaissance across Yorubaland.

The Council expressed confidence that the new title will further strengthen his capacity to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Ibadanland and the Yoruba nation while praying that God Almighty grants him long life, sound health, divine wisdom, and many more elevations in the traditional hierarchy.

Once again, the Yoruba Youth Council congratulates the Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief (Engr.) Dr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, on this well-deserved honour and wishes him continued success in all his endeavours.
