A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC and gubernatorial aspirant of the party in Oyo State, Ololade Usman Bakare has joined Muslims across the world to celebrate the commencement of Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448 AH.
Bakare in his congratulatory message to Muslim Ummah which was made available to FRESHPAGE said that Hijrah marks a significant turning point in the history of Islam which symbolises sacrifice, perseverance, faith and commitment to the cause of righteousness.

Bakare added that the migration of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Makkah to Madinah remains a timeless lesson on courage, patience and trust in Almighty Allaah in the face of challenges.
The cyber security expert urged Muslims in Oyo State and Nigeria to reflect on the profound lessons of the Hijrah and renew their commitment to the values of peace, unity, compassion, justice and selfless service to humanity. Bakare charged Muslims embrace the spirit of brotherhood and work collectively towards building a society founded on mutual respect, love and understanding.
Bakare admonishes that challenges confronting Nigeria from insecurity, food insecurity among others required everyone to remain steadfast, hopeful and committed to positive change. He advised everyone to continue to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, support initiatives that promote development, and contribute meaningful to the growth and progress of our communities.
The gubernatorial aspirant reaffirmed his commitment to a vision of inclusive development, quality education, economic empowerment and improved welfare for all.
