Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde will on Thursday, May 14, unveiled all Allied Peoples’ Movement, APM candidates at the historic Mapo Hall ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Governor Makinde adopted APM as the party all candidates of the PDP in Oyo State will fly their ambitions following a yet to-be-resolved court cases of the party.
A statement by Michael Ogunsina, publicity secretary of the PDP urged all candidates of the party, elders and stakeholders to present at the much anticipated Mega Rally of APM and PDP in Oyo State.

Ogunsina noted that the Mega Rally is compulsory for all candidates. He reiterated the need to work with existing PDP structure in the state to mobilise party members in large number to the venue.

FreshPage recalls that Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State and Governor Makinde are the only present governors who adopted APM for their next political move in their respective states.
Governor Makinde is reported to be interested in picking the Presidential Form of the party.
