A Professor of Islamic Studies, University of Ibadan, Kamil Koyejo Oloso has expressed his preference in Senator AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari for Oyo gubernatorial project out of 16 aspirants that have visited him so far.

Prof. Oloso made the statement on Saturday, February 28, at the Ramadan Lecture held in Ibadan.

The former Head of Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, University of Ibadan said Senator Buhari makes less noise with overwhelming impacts he has made beyond his Senatorial District, Oyo North. Prof. Oloso said Senator Buhari possessed the character, humility and love for humanity to lead Oyo State.

He offered prayer for Senator Buhari that Almighty Allaah will grant him his heart desires in his quest to govern Oyo State.

Who Is Afraid Of Senator AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari?

Although, Prof. Oloso didn’t mentioned gubernatorial aspirants that have visited him for consultation or moral guidance.

Prof. Afis Oladosu delivered lecture at the programme titled “Property tax as a source of convenience for the Ummah”.

FRESHPAGE reports that the third term senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District has expressed his readiness and willingness to throw his hat for governorship seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Beyond the competence, this online newspaper reports that Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Former Minister of Communication, Barr Adebayo Shittu, Cyber security expert, Dr Ololade Usman Bakare, Chief Saheed Oladele, Barr Sharafadeen Alli among others expressed their intention to become governor of Oyo State.
