Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has lost one of his Special Advisers to cold death. The deceased, Engineer James Adepoju until his death was Special Adviser on Infrastructure.

He became the second appointee to die in service under administration of Engr Seyi Makinde as Governor of Oyo State. The first appointee to die in office was former Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Kehinde Ayoola.

The late Adepoju holds Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) Civil Engineering from the prestigious University of Ibadan.

Upon his graduation, he was mobilised for his compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Upon completion, he became Engineering Head of Prize Engineering Consultants Limited where his hard work was noticeable before appointed as Special Adviser on Infrastructure by Governor Seyi Makinde.
