~NGO Board Mgt, Volunteers Hail Obilade
Oyo State Government under the leadership of Engr Seyi Makinde on Thursday, found Amb. Dr Gbenga Clement Obilade worthy and conferred Justice of the Peace on him along with 344 distinguished citizens.
The conferment ceremony was held at the House of Chiefs, Parliament Building, Agodi Government Secretariat, Ibadan.
The Deputy Governor, Barr Bayo Lawal congratulated Gbenga Obilade and other 344 appointees and advised them to guard the title seriously.
In a related development, the Management Board, Staff and volunteers of Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation, heartily congratulated its founder Dr Gbenga Obilade on his well-deserved conferment as a Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde.
The Management Board of the NGO described honour bestowed on Dr. Obilade as Justice of the Peace (JP) as a recognition of his personal integrity, leadership capacity, commitment to service and strong affirmation of his long-standing contributions to community development and peace-building.
The Management Board of the NGO said Dr Obilade who is a Bobagunwa of Akinjole Community has been consistently uplifting others and prompting fairness while standing for what is right.
