Real People Concept (RPC), in collaboration with the Aare Aláwọ̀ Ẹkùn Palace, Ofiki, has announced the Oke-Ogun Cattle, Sheep and Goat Production Sensitization program—an impactful initiative designed to empower youth and women through agribusiness opportunities in livestock farming.
The event will be held at the Ofiki City Hall, Sanndo, Ofiki, on Wednesday, September 30, 2025, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This 4-hour physical gathering is expected to host 1,500 participants, including young aspiring farmers, women entrepreneurs, traditional rulers, government stakeholders, and livestock value chain actors.
Oke-Ogun is the agricultural heartbeat of Oyo State, with vast potential in cattle, sheep, and goat production. However, limited access to knowledge transfer and low engagement of youth and women continue to hinder growth. This sensitization program aims to bridge these gaps, fostering inclusive economic development, enhancing food security, and preserving the region’s rich livestock heritage.
Expert Presentations on sustainable livestock farming and agribusiness models
Interactive Sessions to promote dialogue, learning, and collaboration
Stakeholder Engagement to align community, policy, and market support
Our goal is to equip youth and women with the awareness, practical skills, and sustainability mindset needed to launch and manage successful cattle, sheep, and goat agribusiness ventures—transforming grass into gold and building a resilient agricultural future for Oke-Ogun.
Be part of a movement that is redefining livestock farming in Oyo State. Together, we can unlock the full potential of our communities and create lasting impact.
