Barely 18 months after Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for Accord Party, the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced his intention to return to All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adelabu in a letter written to Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Executives and Leaders expressed his intention to return the party officially come December 15, 2023.

In a two-page letter addressed to the Chairman of the party at the state level, Hon. Isaac Omodewu, the event is slated to hold at party’s Secretariat, Oke-Ado. Adelabu expressed that he wants the event to be anchored by State Executives, Local Government Party Chairmen and Leaders.

FreshPage recalls that Adelabu left APC after the primaries for gubernatorial candidate of the party in the 2023 general elections favoured Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin.
