Youths from eleven (11) local government areas in Ibadan on Thursday trooped out en-mass to stage a walk in support of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition.
The Oyo youths walk for ASIWAJU/SHETTIMA joint ticket started at the All Progressives Congress (APC) party secretariat, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
They walked from party office down to popular Coca House, Dugbe. Oyo State APC Chairman, Hon. Isaac Omodewu commended the youths for supporting the party and its presidential candidate.
The event had in attendance, Vice Chairman, APC South West, Barrister Isaac Kekemeke and other executive from the region.
The gubernatorial candidate of the party in the forthcoming general elections, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin said the walk is a way of testing microphone to confirm acceptability of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ‘s ambition. He assured the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu that his victory is certain in Oyo State with the support from the youths.
He urged the youths to continue on the path of making their voices heard when issues affecting them discussed.
House of representatives candidates that participated in the walk were Hon. Dapo Lam-Adesina, Hon. Akin Alabi, Hon. Lamiju Alao-Akala, Hon. Saheed Akinade Fijabi and Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe.
