Following the conclusion of The Computer Based Test (CBT) organized by the Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission, (TESCOM) to recruit teachers which commenced officially Tuesday, August 11, 2020.

FreshPage monitored the final exercise held at the Distance Learning Centre, University of Ibadan, reliably gathered  that about 60,000 applicants participated in the Computer Based Test organized for intending teachers by the Oyo state government.

While addressing journalists on the ten-day exercise, the Chairman, Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Pastor Akinade Alamu hinted that the commission will meet with the consultant in charge of the exercise and other stakeholders concerned next Monday for the timely release of the CBT results.

Pastor Alamu who added that the Oyo state government is determined to employ the best, disclosed that those who passed the exam will be called for an interview in September 2020.

He, however, said the screening and interview for the non-teaching applicants will come up immediately after the teaching applicants’ interviews are concluded.

Some of the applicants who spoke with FreshPage expressed confidence in the CBT called on the Oyo state government to be fair and transparent in the outcome of the exercise.
