Hon. Ishaq Morufat Ajibola, popularly known as “Bibire Ko Se Fowora,” has officially declared her intention to contest for the Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency seat at the House of Representatives ‘Green Chamber ‘ in the 2027 general elections.
The colourful declaration event took place at St. Cyprian Primary School, Padre, Ibadan, drawing a large crowd of party faithful, stakeholders, and supporters from across the constituency.

Hon. Morufat Ajibola, a proud daughter of Baba Adajo at Temidire Ward 06 in Ibadan North East Local Government, received massive support from party leaders and loyalists who graced the occasion to show solidarity and encouragement.

Dignitaries present at the event included the Oyo State APC Oyo South Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Mojeed Delesolu; State Executive member, Hon. Alaga Muse; Ibadan North East party leader, Prince Gbade Lana; Hon. Kehinde Oloya; Hon. Nahim Ladi Oluokun; Hon. Ogundiwin; Prince Segun Ayedun; the Ibadan North East APC Chairman, Alhaji Asimiyu Elewure; alongside local government executives, ward party chairmen, youth and women leaders, members of the Bibire Movement Support Group, and numerous party members.

In her declaration speech, Hon. Morufat Ajibola unveiled a people-oriented agenda centered on equity, inclusiveness, and sustainable development across the constituency.
She emphasized equity and fair representation, pledging to restore balance and ensure Ibadan North East regains its rightful voice after years of perceived marginalization. According to her, the constituency belongs to both local governments, and no part will be neglected under her leadership.
Speaking on people-centered leadership, she reaffirmed her guiding principle, “Bibire Ko Se Fowora,” stressing that as a true daughter of the soil, she will uphold integrity, attract federal presence, and ensure that the dividends of democracy reach markets, schools, and communities.

On youth and women empowerment, the aspirant promised to champion policies and programs that will create employment opportunities, support small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs), and empower women and young people across the constituency.
She also outlined her commitment to infrastructure and education, noting that she will lobby for improved road networks, better healthcare facilities, and access to quality education for all, referencing key areas such as Oja’ba, Oje, Beere, and Labiran.

Highlighting the importance of unity, Hon. Morufat pledged to work closely with all APC leaders and stakeholders to strengthen the party and ensure victory in the 2027 general elections.
The declaration has since generated widespread reactions within the political landscape, with many describing it as a strong step toward inclusive and effective representation for the constituency.
