Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, I know you may not like this, but the truth must be told. We must never run away from the truth.
I am fully aware that your millions of fans , who span across continents ,may come for me, just as some optional illiterates and low-level souls attacked me and my family when I eulogized my wife after 30 years of marriage.
But let them come! I am ready for the stones and bricks your admirers will hurl at me.
Because, truth be told , your radio station is local.
Yes, Alhaji, your station, Agidigbo FM, located along the popular and busy Lagos-Ibadan-Oyo Expressway in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, is nothing but local! And you shouldn’t run away from this truth.
I saw you rattling like a snake under pressure, reacting to a lady who described your station as local.
But, Alhaji, let’s be honest ,that is the plain truth. In fact, that lady was even being generous. She could have used a more dramatic adjective to describe Agidigbo FM—a station that today commands the ears of over 40 million Nigerians, yet remains proudly local!
Yes, Agidigbo FM is Ibile—totally native, raw, unfiltered, and unapologetically traditional. It is loud, it is vibrant, and it refuses to conform to the polished, pretentious airs of city radio, but not flouting the rules and regulations
Agidigbo FM is not just a local station—it is a fearless, relentless voice that welcomes all—Abdulfatais , Josephs , and Ifakayodes alike—giving everyone a space to be heard.

Be joyful that the local Agidigbo FM has become the voice of the voiceless , has become the last hope for the oppressed, the deprived, and the hopeless.
Agidigbo FM is not a product of luck. It is a testament to vision, resilience, and authenticity.
The name Agidigbo is not just a fancy choice. In Yoruba culture, Agidigbo is a sacred talking drum , one that speaks in codes, only understood by the wise.
