Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II has reportedly joined his ancestors.
His transition filtered in the late hours of Thursday, March 14, 2024.
FRESHPAGE gathered that Oba Balogun Alli Okunmade II gave up the ghost at the facility of the University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
Oba Balogun Alli Okunmade II was the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, born in 1942, became senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria between 1999 and 2003.
He had ascended the throne on March 11, 2022, after the demise of his predecessor, Oba Saliu Adetunji. Adetunji, 93, had died January 2, 2022, after reigning from 4th March 2016.
With its unique ascension system, Owolabi Olakulehin, Balogun Olubadan of Ibadan, who is top on the military line, will be officially announced after 21 days of mourning, as Olubadan.
