The House of Representatives hopeful for Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Hon. Ishaq Morufat Ajibola (Bibire Kò Sè Fowórà), has expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Governor Seyi Makinde, and all security agencies for the successful rescue and safe release of the abducted teachers, pupils, and other victims from Oriire Local Government Area.
Hon. Morufat described the successful rescue operation as a testament to what can be achieved through effective collaboration between the Federal Government, the Oyo State Government, and the nation’s security architecture.
She noted that the safe return of the victims has brought immense relief and renewed hope to their families, loved ones, and the people of Oyo State.
Hon. Morufat particularly commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his genuine commitment to the security of lives and property, stating that his administration’s resolve to combat insecurity continues to yield positive results across the country.
Hon. Morufat also lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for working closely with the Federal Government and relevant security institutions to ensure the safe rescue of the victims. According to her, the synergy between both levels of government played a significant role in the success of the operation.
She further praised the Nigerian Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Western Nigeria Security Network (Amotekun Corps), local hunters, vigilante groups, and every other security stakeholder whose professionalism, bravery, and coordinated efforts made the rescue mission successful.
Describing the operation as commendable, Hon. Morufat emphasized that the fight against insecurity requires sustained collaboration between government, security agencies, and citizens. She urged Nigerians to remain vigilant, security-conscious, and proactive by reporting suspicious movements and criminal activities to the appropriate authorities.
