A non-governmental organization, Morolake Cares Initiatives on Wednesday distributed over 1,000 sanitary pads, deodorant to female students in public secondary school.

The distribution of the materials came after the founder of the foundation, Rolake Laniyan gave brief health talk on why females who are approaching puberty stage needs to practice good Menstrual and Personal hygiene to prevent them from infections such as urinary or reproductive tract infections.

In the first phase of the feminine hygiene awareness program by the NGO, United Secondary School, Idi-Obi, Agugu and Ogbere Community High School, Idi-Osan, benefitted from the initiative.

The duo principals; Mr. Akintayo Waheed of United Secondary School (Junior), Idi-Obi, Agugu and Mrs. Iyabo Akande of Ogbere Community School (Junior), appreciated the gesture extended to the schools.
