Ibadan based Social Change Advocate, Idris Animasaun who was invited by the Department of State Services (DSS) on Monday has been released after hours of interrogation at the Command Headquarters in Ibadan.
Idris, labelled as a strong critics of government performance in Oyo State through his civic engagement and advocate appeared at the DSS office on Tuesday and grilled for several hours.
According to Elite Broadcasters, the organization where he works as Director of Media and Public Relations made the announcement about his release.

The platform in its press release, thanked all members of media community, concerned citizens and all those who stood in solidarity during the period of uncertainty.
The Association urged the the DSS to continue fostering transparency and clear communication when engaging with the media and other concerned bodies.
