Residents and supporters across Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency have continued to celebrate following the emergence of Engineer Dr. David Olusegun Okanlawon as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the House of Representatives seat after the conclusion of the party’s primary election.

The primary, which was conducted amid tight security and close monitoring by party officials and stakeholders, ended with Okanlawon emerging victorious through the consensus arrangement adopted by the party leadership.
The outcome of the exercise has since generated widespread reactions across the constituency, with party loyalists, youths, and community leaders describing the development as a significant step toward strengthening the APC ahead of the general elections.
