The Pioneer Executive Chairman of Oke Badan Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Samuel Kola Ajadi has charged executive governor of the state, Engr Seyi Makinde to learn from his predecessor’s pragmatic approach to tackle insecurity confronting the pace setter state.

Hon. Ajadi disclosed this in a chat with FRESHPAGE.COM.NG while sharing his view about the current state of insecurity in Oyo state, that has witnessed uninterrupted peace during the regime of former governor of the state, late Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi and other progressive governors.

The Pioneer Executive chairman advised Gov Seyi Makinde to study and review the security apparatus under the last regime. He cautioned him that nothing tangible could be achieved in area of security as long as government want praises from all Tom, Dick and Harry.

‘’Before it is too late, it is important as a stakeholder in the state to always charge government as far as security of lives and properties are concerned. We should not forget, any government that fail in the area of security which is the primary role of government has failed its citizens.

‘’The taking over of all geo-political zones in the state by hoodlums and frequent clash between security outfit and citizens is alarming and demand urgent attention, and not lip service from government.

‘’The flaws recorded so far from the Oyo State Security outfit tagged Amotekun says a lot about the training and orientation they received under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.

‘’Let me remind Gov Makinde that it is only in Oyo state , that high handedness of the Amotekun outfit been experience, the remaining 5 south west states are doing fine with the security outfit. This calls for urgent attention. The unjust killing of a 21-year old student in Mokola, Ibadan and several others is an affirmation that Gov Makinde should as a matter of urgency learn from Ajimobi’s pragmatic approach on security’’.
