The Non-Governmental Organization under the umbrella of Youth for New Nigeria, Irepo Local Government branch has felicitated with the Chairman, Oyo State Agricultural Credit Corporation, Hon. Afeez Adelowo Jimoh Ona-Ara.
The group commended the Executive Governor of the Oyo Engr. Seyi Makinde for appointing illustrious son of the local government as the new Chairman, Oyo State Agricultural Credit Corporation.
The Local Coordinator of the group Comrade Abdul Wahab Ameen Olalekan described the Chairman as an asset to present administration in the state.
” The Chairman has a good track record which distinguished him from others. He has shown a high level of compassion for the masses and patriotic to the people of the local government and Oke Ogun at large.”
“It is really heartwarming to see Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment in agriculture sector. The new Chairman will bring his wealth of experience in delivering on mandate of the agency.”
The group urged Hon. Jimoh on the need for urgent intervention in Agriculture as the major agenda of the present administration in the State.
Hon. Afeez Jimoh Ona-Ara was member of State of Assembly representing Irepo/Olorunsogo Local Government 2007-Areas between2011 and member Federal House of Representatives representing Irepo/Olorunsogo/Orelope federal constituency between 2011-2015.
