The All Progressives Congress, APC governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Ololade Usman Bakare has joined Muslims in Oyo State and across the globe to celebrate this year’s Eid-al-Adha.
Bakare in his congratulatory words to all Muslims faithful which was made available to pressmen emphasized that Eid-al-Adha remains a significant festival that teaches Muslims enduring virtues of sacrifice, obedience, faith, compassion and total submission to the will of Almighty Allaah as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
Bakare remarked that timeless lessons
around how Muslims came about the celebration of Eid-al-Adha are deeply relevant to Nigeria as it continues to seek peace, unity, progress and prosperity.
“I urge all Muslims to use this sacred occasion to pray fervently for Oyo State, for our leaders, and for Nigeria as a whole. At a time when many families are facing economic and social challenges, we must embrace the spirit of love, kindness, tolerance, and mutual support that Eid symbolizes. Let us extend hands of generosity to the less privileged, the vulnerable, and those in need within our communities.
