The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the establishment of military battalion in Iseyin and Kishi towns in the Oke-Ogun Area of Oyo State.
This disclosure was made by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 2 Division, Major General AB Mahmuda, on Independence Day during a courtesy call on His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, Ikú Bàbá Yèyé, the Alaafin of Oyo.

According to the GOC, the two battalions in Oke-Ogun will be under the control and supervision of the newly established Military Brigade and Garrison in Oyo, Oyo State.
