Oyo State government has announced the date for the release of Oyo State Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for J.S 3 students going to S.S 1 and Common Entrance Exam results for pupils in Pry 6 going to J.S 1.
According to the Hon Commissioner for Education, Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye, he disclosed that the system is also a victim of the disruptions of the last two weeks in terms of evaluation, computerisation and placement of the 119000 BECE candidates and 160000 candidates for common entrance .
The Commissioner assured that the BECE and Common entrance final results has been approved for release.
The BECE results will be released on Monday, October 26, 2020 while Common Entrance will be out on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
All the LIEs have been directed to collect results for their Local Government.
