The Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District and frontline gubernatorial aspirant of Oyo All Progressives Congress, APC, Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has been screened and cleared to contest the 2027 gubernatorial election.
Senator Alli appeared before the National Screening Committee set up by the party to grill all gubernatorial aspirants from Oyo APC on Saturday in Abuja.
Contrary to insinuations by disgruntled politicians masquerading as Oyo APC Concerned Youths, Senator Sharafadeen Alli was given a clean bill to contest the 2027 gubernatorial elections.
FreshPage recalls that leaders and critical stakeholders within Oyo APC had accepted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s endorsement of Sharafadeen Alli as the adopted gubernatorial candidate for Oyo APC, at the program held recently in Samonda, Ibadan.
