Oyo State gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ololade Usman Bakare on Saturday appeared before the Screening Committee for Oyo State gubernatorial aspirants in Abuja ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Bakare while addressing journalists shortly after the screening exercise to pursue gubernatorial ticket of Oyo APC expressed confidence in the credibility of the screening process and reaffirmed his strong commitment to the ideals and progressive vision of the APC.
The cyber security expert described the interaction with members of the committee as fruitful and encouraging, stressing that the exercise provided an opportunity for all eleven gubernatorial aspirants from Oyo State to share their vision for governance and development in Oyo State.

Bakare expressed confidence about clinching the Oyo APC governorship ticket. He reiterated that his aspiration is driven by a genuine passion to reposition Oyo State.
Bakare commended the leadership of the APC for ensuring a transparent and peaceful screening exercise, adding that internal democracy remains a major strength of the ruling party.
