The APC Governorship Candidate of Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli on Monday received a delegation of APC stakeholders from Iseyin Local Government at his residence.
The meeting was centered on party unity, cohesion, and total focus on winning the 2027 general elections in Oyo State.
Addressing the leaders, Senator Alli commended Iseyin stakeholders for their loyalty, sacrifice, and commitment to the party over the years. He stressed that no individual ambition is bigger than the APC and the collective interest of Oyo people.
“The time for division is over. The time for bickering is over. What we need now is unity of purpose. We must close ranks from Iseyin to Ibadan, from Oke-Ogun to Ibadan, to other regions. If we are united, PDP, APM cannot stand before us in 2027,”he said.
Senator Alli charged all leaders and aspirants who contested for the primaries to sheathe their swords and work together. According to him, A house divided cannot deliver Oyo State.
He re-echoed the mission is to rescue Oyo from maladministration and return it to the path of progressive fold.
The APC governorship candidate outlined that the 2027 election is a rescue mission for Oyo State. He noted that aligning Oyo with the federal government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is critical in attracting development, jobs, security, and infrastructure development for the state.
He appealed to the Iseyin stakeholders to go back to their wards and begin immediate mobilization for APC, for BSA as Governor, and for all APC Candidates across board.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Iseyin APC leaders appreciated Senator Alli for his leadership and accessibility. They pledged their total support and promised to work assiduously to deliver Iseyin and the entire Oke-Ogun zone for APC in 2027.

They described Sen. BSA as “a bridge builder, a man of capacity, and the leader Oyo needs at this time.
The meeting ended with a resolution that all APC members in Iseyin will prioritize party unity, avoid anti-party activities, and work for the victory of APC at all levels in 2027.
