Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ward 4; Units 5, 6, 9 and 10 in Ibadan South West LGA cried out over non-appearance of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and other electoral umpire for the conduct of the Primaries for the House of Representatives, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

All Progressives Congress, APC members conveyed their grievances when a gubernatorial aspirant of the party, Ololade Usman Bakare visited Ward 4, Ibadan South West LGA.
Party members complained that they have been disenfranchised in Ibadan South West LGA to participate in the process to produce formidable candidate for the party in 2027 general elections.

Jabar Olagunju, Ward 4 Chairman who spoke with FreshPage at the scheduled venue of the primaries accused some party chieftains of sabotaging the efforts put in place by the party.

Another member of the party who spoke under condition of anonymity alleged that INEC and other officials that should oversee the conduct of the primaries were camped somewhere by a chieftain of the APC.

Bakare appealed to All Progressives Congress, APC members in Ward 4 to remain calm and law-abiding. He promised them that all necessary things will be done to make sure no one is disenfranchised during the primaries.
