The President of the Yoruba Youth Council Worldwide (YYCW) and newly installed Mogaji of Ifatayo-Alawode Family, Ode Aje, Aremo, Ibadan, Mogaji (Aare) Rahmon Akintunde Alawode, has expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God for His grace, mercy and faithfulness over his successful installation as Mogaji.

In an appreciation message personally signed by Mogaji Alawode, he extended heartfelt appreciation to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, for approving and facilitating his installation in line with the cherished customs and traditions of Ibadanland.
Mogaji Alawode also conveyed special appreciation to the Okanlomo Oodua, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, for his unwavering support, encouragement and commitment to the growth of Ibadan traditional institutions. He equally commended members of The Elite Broadcasters for their contributions and solidarity throughout the installation process.

The appreciation message further acknowledged the support of the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo, the National Working Committee of the Yoruba Youth Council Worldwide, youth stakeholders across Oyo State and beyond, family members, friends and well-wishers who stood by him before, during and after the installation ceremony.
According to the newly installed Mogaji, the honour bestowed upon him is not only a call to service but also a responsibility to uphold the rich cultural heritage, values and traditions of Ibadanland.
Mogaji Alawode reaffirmed his readiness to support the developmental vision of the Olubadan of Ibadanland and the Olubadan-in-Council, while pledging to work collaboratively with other traditional title holders in promoting peace, unity, progress and the preservation of Ibadan’s revered traditional institution.
“I remain committed to contributing my quota to the growth and advancement of Ibadanland. I will continue to support every genuine effort aimed at strengthening our traditional system and preserving the values handed down by our forefathers,” he stated.
He prayed for Almighty God to grant the Olubadan of Ibadanland, members of the Olubadan-in-Council and all sons and daughters of Ibadanland good health, wisdom and prosperity for the continued development of the ancient city.
