The Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Yunus Akintunde, has extended warm felicitations to Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.
In a message personally released to the media, Senator Akintunde urged Christians to reflect deeply on the true essence of the season, which symbolizes sacrifice, love, and piety—core virtues that define the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
He admonished the faithful to imbibe and demonstrate these values in their daily lives, emphasizing that such virtues are essential for fostering unity, peaceful coexistence, and sustainable societal development.
