Senator AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, representing Oyo North Senatorial District on Wednesday bagged distinguished University of Ilorin Distinguished Alumnus Award, a recognition of excellence and mark of honour for his contribution to the growth and development of 50-year-old citadel of learning.
Senator Buhari feels elated returning to his Alma Mater as the Chairman of the University of Ilorin 50th Anniversary, Annual Colloquium Day And Award Presentation.
Dr Buhari, the third term senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District with solid landmarks achievement reunited with other worthy Alumni of the institution at the event. Notably among them were former Governor of Kwara State, Mr. AbdulFatai Ahmed.
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. AbdulWahab Egbewole, SAN praised Alumni Association of the University for their roles to make golden celebrations of the varsity a memorable.
He called on other alumni of the institution to emulate Senator AbdulFatai Buhari and give back to their Alma Mater.
