As the country prepare for harmattan, an inferno has reportedly occured at Queen Elizabeth Hall, University of Ibadan in the early hours of Thursday, December 5, 2024.
The fire whose cause has not been ascertained as of press time affected block of the hall.
University Fire Service has been mobilized to put out the fire.

Queen Elizabeth Hall is the first female Hall of Residence located along Oduduwa Road and adjacent Central Administration Building of the University.
As of press time, no casualty recorded and level of damage done to hall yet to be ascertained.
