The Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Dr. John Kayode Fayemi has sympathized with the victims and relations of Kaduna-Abuja train attack.

The Ekiti State Governor conveyed his message in a press statement issued on behalf of other governors in Nigeria. Dr. Fayemi admitted that the country is facing security challenges.

“We owe the victims and their relations an apology as these unwarranted acts of violence are becoming too regular and they basically question our collective capacity to govern”.

He commended the prompt response of security operatives to avert the magnitude of the havoc, the attack would have generated. Governor Fayemi called for improve security intelligence to combat future scenario.
