The University of Ibadan Muslim Graduates’ Association (UIMGA) has scheduled its 2026 National Summit for April 4, 2026.
The theme for this year’s National Summit is strengthening the Alumni through Youth Empowerment and will hold at the Prof. M.O Abdul Civic Centre, University of Central Mosque at exactly 10:00am.
The event will feature discussants such as; Dr Salau Dauda Folaranmi — the role of an ideal alumni body in nation-building, Bro Ibrahim Hammed — Digital Literacy and Youth Empowerment, Prof. Afis Oladosu — Islamic Ethics and National Development, Prof. Tajudeen Akanji — The Role of Youth Engagement in Peace Building and National Development.
Engr Idris Adeoye is expected to give keynote address under the chairmanship of Chief Bayo Oyero. Prof. Kamaldeen Balogun will be spiritual father of the day while HRM, Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Matemilola, Olowu of Owu will be royal father of the day.
Another key highlight of the event will be the 20th edition of the presentation of scholarships to deserving Muslim students across faculties of the University of Ibadan.
