A proud alumnus of the University of Ibadan, Dr Opeyemi Babatunde who is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Medicine, Keele University, has facilitated Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Keele University, a JIGSAW-A project in partnership with UI, Grant writing workshop for 50 University of Ibadan members of staff.
The workshop will hold in June 2024, after a two person delegation visit to Keele University held in April 2024.

The delegation was made up of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships, Professor Oluyemisi Bamgbose, SAN, and Dr Mobolaji Omobowale, Acting HOD, Agricultural and Environmental Engineering.
They met with the two Deputy Vice- Chancellors of Keele University in charge of Research, and Internationalization.

A robust relationship is expected to develop between the two universities as a result of the visit to further promote the internationalization efforts of UI.
