A traditional monarch in Oyo State, Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba AbdulGaniy Salau has sent a message to Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho and other Yoruba nation Agitators not visit Iseyin town for their rally this period.
Oba Salau cautioned Chief Sunday Igboho and other agitators that bringing such a rally to Iseyin at the period the town is yet to get over the killings of five indigenes on Eid-il-fitri could snowball into another crisis. Aseyin disclosed this in a telephone conversation with the Punch Newspaper.
Aseyin of Iseyin recalled that the agony and pain the town is currently witnessing due to dastardly act perpetrated by the Nigeria Customs Service office located opposite Iseyin District Grammar School is enough not to entertain any pro-Yoruba nation rally.
Although, Chief Sunday Igboho who led other agitators to Osogbo, Osun state capital for the last rally they had is yet to respond to monarch’s stand whether they will postpone or hold the rally at Iseyin as planned.
