A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe has commiserated with the Ilaka family and the entire Oyo Kingdom over the passage of the Iyalode of Oyo, Chief Mrs Felicia Aderemi Ilaka.
In a heartfelt statement he personally signed and made available to FRESHPAGE, Tegbe who was the Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Oyo South in the 2023 general elections, conveyed his condolences to his contemporary in Oyo Central, Oloye Oyebisi Ilaka, the entire Ilaka family, the traditional council in Oyo and the entire Yorubaland over the loss of a titan, noting that the late matriarch lived a fulfilled life.
Mogaji Tegbe further offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the late Iyalode’s soul, invoking blessings and comfort upon the bereaved family.
He urged all Oyo sons and daughters to offer their support and prayers to the Ilaka family, highlighting the importance compassion during times of grief.
